no chains to keep you mine
no illusions of security
do I need to feel fine

a gift it really seems
to my senses all a delight

see right through the surface
deep into your soul

no traps will you find here
real love is like that

Doesn’t bind or wrap you up
in concepts of the mind
of right or wrong or good and bad
it even transcends time
No need to say “I love you too”
no price tag in the sleeve
real love is not conditional
it’s loss you’ll never grieve
Have yourself a wonderful day
enjoying all it’s pleasure
knowing that there are those of us
whom consider you a treasure
Commentary:
I believe that the purest form of love is a sincere appreciation and acceptance that is devoid of self interest, need for reasoning, rationalizing or reciprocation. The ego can not survive where real love exists
