Smile Today

Today I walked down
The path of my life
I thanked god for his love
I thanked god for his light

There’s so much to see
And so much to feel
The good and the bad
With which to deal

It’s all part of me
And all part of you
Where ever you are
You know that it’s true

So do not despair
If it’s not soon enough
There are things to cherish
Although it is rough

Open your eyes
And don’t be blinded
By the past or the future
To be reminded

Today is a good day
Today I will smile
For this is my path
Two feet or a mile
